What this notice covers
This notice describes the current DMCAStar website (dmcastar.com), including the Contact form and the Free Assessment process. It is a factual description of our current practices, not legal advice, and it does not claim compliance with any specific law or jurisdiction unless stated.
Information collected through the Contact form
When you use the Contact form, we collect the name, email address, company or brand (where supplied), reason for contacting us, and message you provide. The form also includes a hidden field used only to detect automated spam submissions — it is not intended for human input and is not displayed.
Information collected through the Free Assessment form
When you request a Free Assessment, we collect the name, email address, company or brand (where supplied), the protection area you select, where the issue is appearing, a description of the problem, any URLs or references you provide, information about what you own or represent, whether the issue has already been reported, and any additional context you choose to share. As with the Contact form, a hidden spam-detection field is also present but not intended for human input.
How submissions are handled
DMCAStar does not maintain a database of website form submissions. Submitted information is validated on our server, and a valid submission is sent as an email through Resend, a third-party email delivery service, to DMCAStar's business contact address. The email address you provide is used as the Reply-To address, so replies go directly to you. We keep enquiry and case-related correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the matter, maintain appropriate business records, or address security or dispute-related requirements.
Service providers
We use Resend to deliver website form submissions by email, Cloudflare for domain, security, and email-routing infrastructure (and, where applicable, website hosting), and Tawk.to to provide live chat on this website. These providers process message data as part of delivering it to us; we do not publish the specific destination mailbox or any account credentials, tokens, or API keys.
Cookies and tracking
Tawk.to, our live chat provider, may set cookies or similar identifiers to maintain a visitor's chat session and conversation history across a visit. We do not currently use additional advertising or behavioural analytics trackers on this website beyond what live chat itself requires to function.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational steps to help protect information submitted through this website. No method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through the Contact or Assessment forms — sensitive or NDA-covered matters can be discussed once we are in direct contact.

You can contact us if you have a question about information you have submitted, or want to request correction or deletion of information we hold, subject to any legitimate recordkeeping or legal requirements.
